Preliminary Final Program is now available! Plan to attend our inaugural Wireless event January 15–20, 2006. San Diego in January is an ideal time at an outstanding location. We will have a weeks worth of strong technical content and the latest commercial developments. While this Wireless event is new, it builds on a strong tradition. We have combined 3 leading technical conferences and have added a major commercial exhibition. The overall focus is on wireless systems, applications and technologies and we will highlight the latest results, concepts, and controversies. The centerpiece of the week is the IEEE Radio and Wireless Symposium (RWS), which continues the evolution of the successful Radio and Wireless Conference (RAWCON). Two IEEE Societies support the RWS — the Communication Society provides Technical Co-sponsorship and the MTT provides Sponsorship. RWS brings together a unique mix of communications systems and RF implementations via invited and contributed papers, panel sessions, workshops and tutorials. The IEEE Topical Workshop on Power Amplifiers for Wireless Communications (PA Workshop) and Topical Meeting on Silicon Monolithic Integrated Circuits in RF Systems (SiRF) are also key parts of the program. The PA Workshop has been bringing leading RF power amplifier engineers together in San Diego for many years, and will continue that tradition. SiRF has for years presented the latest in silicon RF technologies and applications and will continue its strong tradition. With these 3 conferences and a large commercial exhibition all in one place, we offer you, the attendee, a convenient opportunity to get a comprehensive update in all the technical and commercial facets of the rapidly changing wireless landscape. The program and the attendance will be strong and diverse, allowing you to learn formally and informally what is going on in your specialty and in related areas. We look forward to seeing you in San Diego! |
