HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We are excited to meet in person once again and the RWW2022 event management team is doing everything we can to make this the best possible experience for everyone. 

We request that all authors, attendees, and participants be diligent in their own health and safety monitoring.  Please review and follow recommended practices and policies of not only your local region but those of Las Vegas, Nevada USA.

Our event venue – Caesars Palace Las Vegas maintains strict adherence to CDC, state, local, and regulatory guidelines.  This includes mask requirements, where applicable, enhanced cleaning procedures, encouragement of frequent hand washing, and screening requirements.   

We ask for your patience and cooperation during the planning and execution phases of this event.  As this is a dynamic situation, procedures and policies may need to be updated based on federal, state and local guidance.  Thank you for your understanding as we work together to hold a safe and productive show. 

The following includes our current health and safety plans for RWW2022 *subject to change

IN ADVANCE OF RWW2022

  • A self-assessment email will be sent to every registrant 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the show.
    • The intent of this email is to encourage attendees to be aware of their own health well-being.  
  • Those who do not feel well or have been in contact with sick individuals should reevaluate their travel/attendance plans.

ON SITE AT RWW2022
Hotel Common Areas (ie main lobby, restrooms, elevators, casino floor etc..)

  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting throughout the hotel, paying special attention to high touch areas.  
  • Attendees and guests should follow hotel guidelines and policies.  
  • If you have questions while on site, contact a hotel or event representative.

RWW & ARFTG General Event Space

  • Masks are required at all times (regardless of vaccination status).
  • Attendees will be requested to review and agree to entry and health terms and conditions when they check in and pick up their badge.
  • Additional masks will be available if needed.  
  • Registration and Information stations will include clear plastic guards to help limit the exposure of airborne contaminants.
  • Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the event space.
  • Event signage will remind attendees of a “No Contact Policy” and encourage attendees to practice social distancing and proper hygiene.  
  • Signage with CDC recommended handwashing procedures will be placed in all restrooms.
  • There will be frequent cleaning and sanitizing of public areas, with attention paid to high-touch points.
  • Medical personnel will be onsite for emergencies.

RWW & ARFTG Session Rooms

  • Masks are required at all times (regardless of vaccination status).
    • Exceptions include speaker during his/her own presentation.
  • Hand sanitizers will be available outside of all occupied meeting rooms.
  • Entry doors will be set in an open position to reduce hand contact.
  • Seating will be spaced apart to increase social distance. 
  • Wiping down high touch points (door handles, head table stage, stair rails) between sessions.
  • Sanitizing wipes at the podiums (for speaker use).
  • Audio visual equipment such as keyboards, laser pointers and mice will be wiped down with sanitizer wipes between sessions.  
  • Lapel microphones will not be available
  • Where possible, one-way entry/exit points will be implemented.

RWW & ARFTG Social Functions and Exhibit Area

  • Masks are required at all times (regardless of vaccination status).
  • Exceptions include food functions
  • Event signage will remind attendees of a “No Contact Policy” and encourage attendees and exhibitors to practice social distancing and proper hygiene.  
  • Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the function space.
  • Exhibitors will have the option to order clear plastic guards to help limit the exposure of airborne contaminants.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Per the CDC website, travel guidelines for international visitors which include mandated COVID testing (regardless of vaccination status) prior to entry into the United States for international travelers.  Be sure to refer to specific guidelines associated with not only your local region but that of Las Vegas, Nevada as well.

Individuals are responsible for their own testing.  We strongly encourage you to research your options carefully.  The following are a few examples of testing sites in relation to the conference venue.  Individuals are responsible for any and all fees associated with the testing including but not limited to: transportation, analysis, results etc…
